The Angel Wish Project is a large scale ceramic sculpture of an angel whose wings are composed of glass bottles. Each bottle is filled with white feathers; each feather representing a wish. Displayed in a public setting, many of the bottles are at first empty as the public may purchase a wish/feather by making a donation and having their feather placed in one of the bottles. As time progresses, the public can witness their contributions ”filling out” the angel’s wings. The proceeds will be used toward the purchase of art supplies for women and children’s shelters to provide for art therapy and creative self-expression. *
